We collect information you provide directly — including your name, email address, company name, USDOT number, and payment information (bank account details for ACH billing). For carrier and driver verification, we collect identity documents (CDL photos and selfies) processed through Stripe Identity, and background check information processed through Checkr. We also collect usage data such as login activity, document uploads, and portal access events.
We use collected information to provide and operate the platform, verify carrier and driver identity, process background checks in compliance with the FCRA, send onboarding invitations and notifications, process ACH billing, and improve the platform. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We use Stripe Identity for driver identity verification, Checkr for MVR and background checks, Cloudflare for infrastructure and data storage, and the FMCSA public API for carrier lookups. Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data.
Carrier and driver records are retained for the duration of your account and for a period following account termination as required by applicable law. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at jeff@getpurplesquirrel.com.
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Portal access is protected by PIN authentication. Driver authorization links are one-time use and lock permanently after completion. We use Cloudflare's enterprise-grade infrastructure for all data storage and transmission.

Purple Squirrel AI ("Provider") provides freight brokers and carriers with access to its carrier onboarding and compliance platform ("Platform") as described at getpurplesquirrel.com. By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. You shall not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Platform, nor use the Services to develop a competing product or service.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and PIN. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at jeff@getpurplesquirrel.com of any unauthorized access.
Broker accounts are billed $35 per active carrier at the end of each calendar month via ACH bank transfer. Carrier accounts are billed monthly via ACH based on their fleet tier. By providing your bank account information, you authorize Purple Squirrel AI to initiate ACH debit entries from your account. There are no refunds for partial months.
You represent and warrant that you will use background check and MVR information only for permissible purposes under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). You are responsible for providing proper adverse action notices to drivers when required by law.
You retain ownership of your data. You grant Purple Squirrel AI a license to use your data solely to provide the Platform services. We will handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Purple Squirrel AI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the three months preceding the claim.
Either party may terminate the agreement with 30 days written notice. We reserve the right to terminate accounts for violation of these Terms immediately.
